Civil Engineering Solutions Ltd specialise in solving problems associated with all aspects of drainage and flooding. Our core business activities include:

• Drainage design for surface water and foul water systems including SuDS;
• Flood risk assessments and flood consequence assessments to TAN15 in Wales, PPS25 in England and SPP7 in Scotland;
• Project Appraisal Reporting to FCDPAG guidance for both fluvial and tidal works;
• Flood alleviation scheme design for both fluvial and tidal environments;
• Flood risk mapping studies using TUFLOW, ISIS, HEC-RAS and InfoWorks RS;
• Watercourse modelling & catchment hydrology;
• River restoration projects;
• Topographic & hydrographic survey; and
• Total project management.

We have strong links to our local community, managing projects for a number of volunteer groups, including disabled access improvement schemes, recreational area development and sports pitch drainage schemes.

Our core work within Wales and the North West of England includes both civil engineering scheme design for flood alleviation projects and flood risk assessments (NPPF, SPP7 and TAN15) undertaken for the Environment Agency Wales, Environment Agency and various local authorities. We also work closely with a select list of consulting engineers to provide them with technical expertise in the preparation of ISIS and ISIS/TUFLOW flood risk modelling.

We have many years experience of working within the civil engineering industry and believe in providing the highest levels of service to our clients. At all times we provide sustainable, environmentally sound and technically strong/innovative solutions. We are able to advise on planning issues and grant applications and can prepare and submit applications for various consents, including FEPA, Flood Defence and Planning.
